The Judge of the P. Diddy trial, Judge Arun Subramanian has finally completed the trial––and the verdicts are in. As many of you know, P. Diddy was arrested, jailed, and charged on 5 counts of different sexually related charges back in September of 2024 (Ref. Blog #2). However, of the 5 charges, he was acquitted of the three more serious charges, and convicted on only two counts of prostitution-related violations. And it would appear for now, Hollywood “missed a bullet” and is relieved he didn’t squeal––or did he?
Obviously, this leaves a lot of questions as to why this verdict (!!!)––and just what is actually going on here. As was reported last September when he was originally arrested, the indictment was very comprehensive. The charges listed were multiple. It included sex trafficking, prostitution, kidnapping, bribery, obstruction of justice, and racketeering, which is a RICO violation. That alone was carrying a life sentence behind bars.
These charges and the fact he “allegedly” had filmed many high profile, musicians, athletes, entertainers and politicians in very compromising activities gave this arrest, what many people thought would result in justice for the victims. This indictment had enormous implications of incriminating may successful people in horrifically sick and perverse activities that were secretly filmed with “allegedly” other adults and under aged minors and children. But now, we understand, of the 5 charges he was indicted on, only 2 resulted in a guilty verdict!! Considering the charges, the obvious question is: how does that happen?
How does a group of prosecutors, which included Maureen Comey, daughter of former FBI director, James Comey, indict an individual and then lose the case by not proving beyond a “shadow of a doubt,” he is guilty of these very serious charges?
Apparently, the case was not as solid as the prosecution thought, or P. Diddy’s lawyers were just that good and too much for the prosecutions limited evidence to fit; so the jury decided to acquit––the more serious charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking. This is a very grave disappointment and a colossal failure by the prosecution in light of the evidence told to the public that was confiscated in raids, which revealed many filmed illicit behaviors involving drug use and sexual activities at these “Freak-Offs” parties!!
When considering this kind of justice, you can’t help but to be reminded of what Jeremiah was confronting when contending with the iniquities of the nation of Judah. Notice what Jeremiah says: “Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have with-holden good things from you. For among my people are found wicked men: they lay wait, as he that sets snares [Traps, secretly, like filming you without you knowing]; they set a trap, they catch men [Doing things that would embarrass them if publicly known]…therefore they are become great, and waxen rich [By controlling people due to the leverage they have over those they need favors from, because they can publicly ruin them with the information they have about them––its called blackmail]. They are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked [They look the other way and turn a blind eye to the rule of law and let the wicked get away with the crimes they’re committing]: they judge not the cause [They don’t litigate, punish, or vindicate] the cause of the fatherless [The orphan children], yet they prosper [By trafficking, enslaving, in servitude]; and the right of the needy do they not judge” [They don’t treat the elderly and impoverished fairly] (Jer. 5:25-28).
This is the same things we are dealing with in today’s world. Our justice system leaves a lot to be desired––it’s very corrupt!! Comparably speaking, very few are held accountable, especially those high up in the “food chain.” And because of this our land, our culture, the people, suffer in a variety of ways. Things are getting so bad, criminals are emboldened to commit crimes now in the open, in broad daylight! They have no fear!!
So, notice what God says as Jeremiah closes this chapter. “Shall I not visit [Punish] for these things? says the Lord: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this? An astonishment and filthiness is committed in the land [Yes, there is astonishing filthiness in our land]; The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests bear rule [Dominate, reign, or prevail] by their means [The religious leaders dictate to the people what they want and expect. The result is the people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.]; and my people love to have it so [The people just follow without ever thinking about what their being lead to believe, or do.]:
And so the prophet asks in the end to the people listening; “and what will you do in the end thereof” (Jer. 5:29-31)? And that is the question ! What is it we will do when contending with these conditions? Jesus warned us to be careful in the end-times because there’s always that chance to become demoralized and complacent toward our obedience to God, due to the perception our Lord is delaying His coming, and our lusts to participate in the lawlessness surrounding us!
So, Christ puts out a clarion call to “Watch you therefore: for you know not when the master of the house comes… Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch” (Mark 13:35-37).
