My mom Dolores has asked for prayers. She is suffering from depression from personal issues and still grieving for her son. She is on a second antidepressant which may take some time to work. She has insomnia or wakes up after having weird dreams. She really needs the sleep with her heart problems.

My name is Makenna. I’ve been having a hard time and was wondering if you would pray for my deliverance from the enemy. I worked in healthcare for a little bit but now I’m struggling. I feel like I can’t help others the same way anymore, and I’d like to however God wants me to, Please ask Jesus to deliver me from the forces of evil. I would like God to help me with full deliverance because I feel attacked spiritually. I would like to grow old and do whatever God’s will is to the best of my ability. Please ask God to work fast and have mercy on me, and ask for the angels to help. I’ve been disabled most of my life.
Thank you so much, God Bless You!

From Ben Faulkner:
Early Monday morning, 04.14.25. Rhonda Diggins, member CGG, woke up with severe chest pain. Her husband, Steve, anointed her and took her to the ER. On the way to the hospital, God intervened on Rhonda’s behalf and reduced the heaviness in her chest. The doctors ran a series of tests, checking for indications of a heart attack, but everything looked normal. However, the doctors gave her nitroglycerin and it reduced the pain, so the doctor was still concerned about her heart. They decided to keep her for observation and schedule her for a stress test. They were not able to get her on the schedule for the stress test on Monday, so she had to spend the night in the ER. Early Tuesday morning, she had another episode of severe chest pain. She received nitroglycerin again and again it reduced the pain. So, the doctors checked her troponin enzyme level again and found it was a little above normal, which indicates a heart attack or some other heart condition. After 34 hours in the ER, she was moved to a hospital room. She is now scheduled for the stress test on Wednesday morning. Rhonda and Steve both thank everyone for their continued prayers for Rhonda’s healing and a total recovery.

Prayer Request – Crisis in Haiti
From Chuck Smith, Senor Pastor, Caribbean:
We humbly ask for your prayers for our church family in Haiti, who are facing dire and dangerous circumstances. The ongoing civil conflict between government forces and violent gangs has spread beyond the capital of Port-au-Prince, reaching the city of Mirebalais—just 50 miles away—where many of our brethren live and worship.
Just last week, the gangs moved into the city of Mirebalais, seized the prison, released 500 prisoners, and killed at least 30 individuals. They then proceeded to overtake the city and surrounding areas, burning down churches, pillaging homes, and committing acts of violence, including rape. Our brethren have been forced to flee their homes and our church building to stay safe. Most left with nothing but the clothes on their backs and have hidden themselves in the woods and countryside, while others sought refuge in nearby towns that have not yet been attacked.
Due to the ongoing instability, we have had to cancel services, including Passover and the Days of Unleavened Bread, while praying for all those hiding to survive. Our greatest concerns are for the young girls and children, who are especially vulnerable, as well as the growing risk of starvation. A few of our leaders are doing everything they can to get food, supplies, and financial assistance to our scattered members. We’ve sent emergency funds that were generously donated locally, but the need remains urgent and ongoing.
Please pray for protection, provision, and strength. Pray that God’s presence will be powerfully felt by those who feel abandoned and afraid. And pray for a path to peace and restoration in Haiti. Only God can bring true order and healing in the midst of this chaos.
Thank you for standing in faith with our Haitian brethren.

We had an ice storm here in Michigan that they are calling the storm of the century. Today, April 8th is Day 10 without power. We have an older generator and Joe has to keep plugging in the sump pump so the basement doesn’t flood, which is hard with having edema in one leg. Spring Holy day grocery shopping and cleaning is nearly impossible with no good lighting and an empty refrigerator. Praise God no trees landed on our house. Please pray for our power to be restored soon. Thank you Brethren.

Your urgent prayers are requested for David Schemenauer, a member of the Elkhart, Indiana United Church of God congregation who had a very bad accident while skiing with his family in Colorado on Friday. He suffered a broken arm, damaged lung, and a spinal cord injury to his T6 vertebrae. He currently does not have any feeling below his waist. Doctors need to do emergency surgery within 24 hours to have the best chance of repairing the damage to his spine. Please pray for God’s immediate intervention, healing, and comfort. Thank you.
Update: On Saturday night, the surgeons made two fusions in his vertebrae. One was by his neck and the other was in his thoracic spine. The surgeon is feeling optimistic he will regain movement in his arms and hands but not his legs. As of Sunday morning, he had feeling in his chest, arms and hands, but nothing below the chest. He will be in the ICU for the next week. He is on a ventilator and is breathing well (though his daughter reports “the ventilator is driving him nuts”), but the doctors are taking things slow to help with recovery. He is in good spirits. Please keep David in your prayers, as well as his wife, Crystal, and their daughters, Ally, Paige, and Sierra. Paige writes, “We are so grateful by the community who is keeping David in their prayers. Thank you deeply for your love and support.”

Bowen Myles Sanabria was born to Michael and Hannah (Fenwick) Sanabria on Sunday, March 30. Hannah noticed his hand shaking and alerted a nurse. After three such episodes (seizures), the doctors took him to the NICU. They performed an MRI and hooked him up to monitors. He is sedated, medicated, and on oxygen. He may be in the NICU for up to six days.
Shelly Fenwick, grandmother, writes, We’re praying that the baby will be well in the 48-hour period of observation, and that this was only from delivery, so they can all go home. This is especially difficult with the holy days so close. They have been recommended for the Ronald McDonald house, but there is a waiting list. Prayers for comfort, strength, and healing from our great God would be most appreciated!
